Justifications Campaign 1 - Magazine Advert
I have created two designs for an advert that features soap. Both designs have a bold slogan that catches the user's eye and draws attention to the image and the advert. The first design focuses on the soap and shows some green tree imagery with the price at the bottom. The second design uses sky and cloud imagery to blend in with the scene, with a bold font and the price at the bottom. I have included two soap images in each design to give the customer a complete product overview. Using imagery that blends in with the location, the advert stands out as it can be seen as natural and one with the environment.
Justifications Campaign 2 - Animated Skyscraper Advert
For my newspaper advert, I have chosen a green palette with green imagery showcasing a forest at the bottom to emphasise the natural aspect of the product. I have used a bold slogan with an arrow pointing towards the soap image, which is prominently displayed to grab the customer's attention. Additionally, I have added a small price tag to indicate the product's affordability. Using a nice green image at the bottom attracts the customers' attention, creating a sense of the product being natural and handmade. The forest image represents sustainability and the use of natural colours. The small price tag shows that we are not forcing the customer to buy the product but instead encouraging them to visit our website and see if they want to purchase it.
Justifications Campaign 3 - Social Media Profile
I have decided to use Instagram for my social media profile. Although the images have not been created yet, I plan to follow the same theme as the previous advertisements. I will showcase the soap and its benefits in a clean environment, accompanied by catchy captions. I will also feature the soap individually and on the website, explaining how it is made and its advantages. Social media is an excellent platform to promote our product, and we should showcase all possible benefits with simple but striking imagery and captions.
Justifications Campaign 4 - Large-Scale Print Advert
For the large print advert, I have chosen the ocean and clouds as the imagery. This is because it looks visually appealing on a large scale and is easy to create. The text used in the advert is extensive and bold, making it easily noticeable. The calm ocean at the bottom, with a beautiful blue sky and fluffy white clouds above, presents a large soap image floating in the 'sky.' This showcases the soap's natural ingredients and how it fits into the slogan. It also gives the customer an impression of being environmentally conscious and sustainable. Additionally, a small price action with the logo and website is included, which does not push the customer but stands out enough to attract them. Using bright colours creates a sense of happiness and contentment in the customer.
